Collage

This photo-collage series is built from portraits made before and after breast cancer surgery, including a double mastectomy and expander placement, and from an intentional refusal to restore the body to visual coherence. The work is not concerned with documenting trauma or narrating recovery. Instead, it holds the body in a state of partial visibility, where withholding becomes a form of authorship.
